A companion to your craft

CanePath is a manual chair-caning project recorder for the supported rectangular frames described in the app. Its diagrams are schematic. It does not inspect frame strength, determine safe tension or calculate a complete weaving pattern. Choose routes and materials using your seat and appropriate craft instructions.

Your projects

You control your locally stored notes and photos. Keep separate backups for important work. You are responsible for permission to use any images you add or share. The labelled example contains invented records and illustrative generated artwork.

Free workbench and CanePath Pro

The free workbench holds three saved ordinary chairs plus one excluded example. Archived and imported chairs count toward the next new chair. Backups can be imported above the free limit. CanePath Pro is an optional one-time purchase for unlimited new chairs and printable project PDF exports. No subscription is created.

Apple displays local pricing, processes payment and manages refunds under its policies. Use Restore Purchases in Settings with the purchasing Apple account. A verified entitlement is required for Pro features. All existing projects, editing, JSON backups, imports and recovery remain accessible if Pro is not available or is refunded.

App license

The app is licensed under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Nothing here limits rights that apply under consumer law.
